Since November 2000, Paul Elmore has been President of RNM Properties, a privately-held real estate investment group headquartered in San Francisco. Following graduation from the University of Connecticut, he served in Benin, West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Upon completing post-graduate studies at the Université de Besançon in France and relocation to the Bay Area, he embarked on a career in commercial real estate. Mr. Elmore is an industry veteran with over twenty years of experience in a variety of capacities including property, asset and portfolio management, construction, and leasing. His previous employers include Banque Indosuez, headquartered in Paris and SPP Investment Management of Stockholm.

RNM values all employee contributions and each year employees nominate a co-worker as the Employee of the Year also know as the Spirit Award. Nominations must include specific examples of how the employee demonstrates RNM's mission and values in their job performance over the course of the year. Nominations may be anonymous and forwarded to the Director, Corporate Services during the month of November for consideration and presentation in December. Recipients receive a monetary gift as well as an award.

What do you like most about RNM: There is an amazing sense of team spirit at RNM which is really a refreshing change. RNM is unique in that we are working for a developer, owner and manager.
Most Memorable RNM experience: There were so many to choose in 2006! However, I really felt a sense of pride working at RNM by participating in the Grand Opening at Adobe Creek Center. I have never worked on a project as a property manager from the ground up. There is a terrific sense of accomplishment to watch your tenants flourish knowing that you’ve been part of their success.
Advice for new employees: This is a “people” business and developing those relationships is the basis for a successful career in the industry. Always deliver bad news in person; your tenants and vendors will appreciate it. And finally, read and understand RNM’s Mission & Values Statement. It’s what RNM is all about and there may be an exam on it!
Hobbies/Interests: Does shopping count as a hobby?? We have a boat so I enjoy wake surfing and wakeboarding. I like to travel. And I am passionate about horse back riding even though I don’t have a horse anymore.

Hobbies/Interests: Being outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, backpacking, day hiking with my family, dirt bike riding, mountain biking, and site seeing.

What do you like most about RNM: : Definitely the team spirit. I don’t hesitate to contact my peers whenever I need assistance, knowing that they will be available to help in any way they can. Also the tremendous support of the owners, which has been unwavering even in the down market.
Most Memorable RNM experience: Being able to represent RNM, along with the President – Paul Elmore - at the International TOBY Awards in Toronto. One of my projects – 1730-1732 North First Street - won the TOBY Award for the Suburban Mid-Rise category.
Hobbies/Interests: Travel is at the top of my list. I’m taking French lessons with the hopes of one day being able to enjoy an extended stay in France. I also take weekly equestrian (English riding) lessons and occasionally play golf and ski.
Pets: A 22-year old black cat named “Chicory” and a goldfish named “Boris” (named after Boris Korloff, but don’t ask why). The current “adopted” horse is “Mike.” |

Advice for new employees: Get to know everyone in the company not just the team that you are working with. Everyone here is a tremendous resource and they are always willing to help out.
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, outdoor activities, food & taking long walks through San Francisco’s neighborhoods.
Pets: Beagle, Charlie (after Charlie Brown…naming him Snoopy was a little bit too fanatic).
